Who Should Attend
The course is aimed at graduate engineers, mathematicians or physicists who have some basic knowledge or interest in turbomachinery but are not yet specialists in the subject. A knowledge of fluid dynamics, thermodynamics, computing and mathematics equivalent to that obtained by most graduates in mechanical or aeronautical engineering will be assumed.
The course will be especially beneficial to those who have recently embarked on a career in turbomachinery based industry and wish to expand on their knowledge of the subject as rapidly as possible. Specialists on one type of machine, who wish to broaden their knowledge of turbomachinery in general and graduate students starting a research project on some aspect of turbomachinery flow will also find the course of value.
